    REPS - True BMR's

    Pro's out there - how many of you find that the online sources to find your BMR is correct.

    It's all trial and error at the end - but do you trust one online source over another?

    I found that the Mifflin-St Jeor formula (off of http://www.freedieting.com/tools/cal...alculator.htm#) was almost spot on with my BMR. I started with the recommended amount of calories for "Fat Loss," and begin leaning up fast. So I know what works for me.

    RESULTS - GUIDELINE ONLY

    **Maintenance: 2227 Calories/day **
    Fat Loss: 1782 Calories/day
    Extreme Fat Loss: 1336 Calories/day

    I'm currently on a bulk - so what whould you guys reccomend going over my Maintenance by?

    My full day meal today is the following breakdown (including dinner and snack)

    Weight=151 lbs

    Grams Calories %-Cals
    Total Calories 2,291

    Fat 41.2 371 16 %
    Saturated 8.2 74 3 %
    Polyunsaturated 10.1 91 4 %
    Monounsaturated 11.3 102 4 %
    Carbohydrate 219.2 865 38 %
    Protein 248.4 1,031 45 %

    Normally, to "clean bulk," it's recommended to eat 500 calories over your maintenance. In my opinion, I would start by increasing your fats. 16% fat from your overall calories is pretty low. I would also push your carbohydrates higher as well.
