I started working out in January. My first protein was ON Natural Whey. Loved it, no gas. Then I switched to Dymatize Elite. I had gas so bad my family was ready to kill me. After that tub was gone, I picked up a 10 lb. box of Scivation. Still farting a ton. At first it was kind of funny because I've never been a real gassy person but sometimes it's embarrassing. At the mall, at a restaurant, and in the sack to name a few places it's not funny. I like ON products but I like paying $60 for 160 servings of Scivation better than $75 for 144 servings of ON.
Do you have any recommendations for a gas free protein that's cost effective or should I just keep letting them rip? Maybe everybody's body is different and what gasses up one guy may not gas up another. I don't know.
Thanks

I'd say if your that worried about it, pay the extra 15 bucks for the ON whey. To fart or not to fart, that is the question, sir.
There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there.

The reason you get gas is because the Dymatize and Scivation have higher percentages of WPC (Whey Protein Concentrates) and lower amounts of Whey Isolate. Whey isolate does not contain any lactose and doesn't cause much gas while WPC has lactose and is harder on the digestion system. That's why ON is more expensive; you're getting more Isolate per gram than other brands. So unfortunately you gotta spend some money to get a better product.
