When you say "I squat 230lbs" are you counting the 45lbs of the bar? Or is 230lbs only the weight of the plates?
Thank you.

I count the bar for barbell work, and one of my gyms includes the weight of the bar on their DB's, whic are plate loaded. They have 7's, 12's, 18's, 22's, 28's, 33's, 38's...etc.
When pushing sleds of sorts I usually don't know the weight of the sled, so I don't count it.
My journal entries on leg press are like that. EG: 3 sets, 12 reps @ 3 plates/side.
Just sayin'.
