Alright yesterday I had a private MT session... Damn that was nuts.
Worked on some new combos that Im gonna try and work into my game. My left hook is really coming along and is gonna be devistating if I ever get that close to someone. Also my elbows are really coming along nicely.
Probably looking at fighting in January sometime. Should be a blast!!!
I did cheat like a mo fo last night and had a bunch of double stuffed oreos... But whatever"Its like a ballet of Violence"

Ill be fighting at 205 for sure. Ive been approached by a few organizations already with possible fights. Im actually somewhat well known in my area and because of my fighting style people love to have me on there card! lol... I think its cause I knock people out. Anyways I dont have one lined up yet my coaches are weighing the advantages of each.
In the meantime... I love fishnets lol, Yes Im super bored at work

Our gym gets our guys fights like crazy. Our head instructor is good friends with the guys that run a few of the multiple orgs around us, one actually trains at our gym occasionally. We had guys fight early last month and are fighting again December 6th. From what I have seen in the orgs around us there aren't a lot of bigger guys, above 185 that is.
Stupid picture is blocked at work so no fishnets for me

My gym is also in tight with alot of the local orgs and actually my gym owns one lol... Braveheart mma owns EWC (Elite warrior championship) and also owns a clothing company... Drop Squad
Actually if everything goes right we will possibly be the largest square footage gym in america soon... But Im not getting my hopes up"Its like a ballet of Violence"

Damnations I look good today... Anyways I had boxing last night and got some one on one with the coach just working on super simple basics. I wanna make sure I have those down... I know all the punches and how to do them seperately, I just really need to make sure Im always on balance to throw the next punch... I have a really tough time with leaning into my punches. BLAH!
So I keep checking my weight and although my diet isnt the best right now, Im staying around 225 lbs. Im upping my abs and core exercise ten fold really working on decline sit ups and rotational strength. When I started this class I really struggled to do 20 push ups. Now Im pumping out sets of 50 like its nothin!!! That really F-ing excites me and I can already see a difference in my arms, chest and shoulders. Also on thursdays Im gonna start doing high rep low set squats... Probably only 135 lbs to start with. Im really gonna try to get my legs cut! I think I could lose 5 pounds off my legs if I really try...
And now some hot fighter chicks to look at
Pink gloves!!! LOL
PS YAY for Oreos... But Im gonna take a month off from those... the evil things!"Its like a ballet of Violence"

My day job: I sit in a cubicle and play on the computer all day, Im in sales for Motosport.com
Diet: I completely understand diet is key and for two months my diet was amazing... but sadly Ive been super broke lately and had to make drastic cut backs as far as shopping for food... so now Im just eating as best I can... The oreos were just one really bad night where I had to eat something amazing lol

So the HW Champ wants to fight you at 205? What weight does he fight at for Heavyweight then?
I have the same problem that you mentioned a few posts back about leaning into punches in a combo. I have been focusing on making sure each punch in a combo is its own punch and to not start throwing the next before the previous hand is back where it belongs. I have gotten caught a few times because of this but I think part of it is because I am still new and my combos are still pretty predictable. Jab, cross, hook gets picked up on pretty quickly I have found out.

He is dropping to 205 because he is going pro in two more fights supposedly... He walks at like 245 at his last fight but supposedly he could make 205 now...
And ya you have to learn some new combos or people pick up on that same one really fast... There is a guy who always slips his head to the inside when I throw my jab... He did it about six times, finally I threw my head kick after the jab... He took it to the temple and almost knocked him out... Last practice I saw him practice the slip to the outside( THE CORRECT WAY!!!) LOL!!"Its like a ballet of Violence"

That is pretty funny. I can get fooled with something about 3 times in a session and then it doesn't work again, that day or a week later. The main guy I train with, he has a fight at 185 on Dec 6th, uses the double jab well. Except sometimes after he throws the second jab he pulls it back but doesn't get it up in front of his face all the way. The last week I have been waiting on that and landing the right cross. He seems to have fixed that since he was bringing his left hand back up during all of our sparring last night.

I know alot of guys who do the double jab... When I see the first jab Ill step through with a looping overhand right... ALA CHUCK LIDDELL... lol It works amazing on most guys. But keeping that hand up after the jab is for sure something I think everyone can work on! lol
