Fyi
Wanderlei Still scary as hell...
lol
Just had a great sparring session with Matt "Suave" Horwich. He is one of the new Jitz coaches at my gym. He is really gonna expand my game I can already tell. Other then that Ive been training so I can fight again soon. Ive lost 8 lbs in the last week lol. Gonna hit a pro am event this friday and see how the competition is around Oregon. Not that anybody reads this anymore... lol. But its still great motivation for me.

Silva was there holding a Muay thai seminar.
Im seriously thinking about trying to fight my way into K1. I can make the 85KG class if I diet well all the time.
Im really just tired of Jitz. I know there are alot of Jitz lovers out there but to be honest I would much rather kick someone in the face. Has anyone had any experience with friends or training partners getting into K1? The only Guy I know that has been there is Dennis Hallman. Ill be training with him in a few weeks... But well, Im impatient lol.
By the way Im now training with the 5th ranked women in the world for boxing. She is showing me some ish! Also Matt Horwich is a great sparring partner. He is our new Jitz coach and trains with our fight team. You can see some of his fights on mma-core.com
Anyways sorry im not updating more. I just work and train... alot"Its like a ballet of Violence"

Need Input:
I just got hooked up with a new Management guy, He is a part time manager who has strong ties in MMA and Pro Boxing.
He offered me a Pro boxing match. I do train Boxing at my own gym and At Grand Ave boxing in Portland Or. I feel like I could easily hold my own and have a great chin but am a lil weary about it.
What do you guys think of MMA/Karate/Kick boxer making a few appearances in Pro boxing???
PS Im still on the Hunt for K1 Glory!"Its like a ballet of Violence"

I know when we do boxing I always have to remind myself I can't kick. That would suck, but be funny, if you tagged a dude with a leg kick in a boxing match. I guess if you just focused on boxing for a while before the fight that wouldn't really be a problem. You also wouldn't have to worry about takedowns which would really let you commit to your striking.

Ya, so i just got back. I sparred with a golden gloves fighter and Rudy, Rudy is a pro boxer with a 6--0 record. He hits really hard!!! lol...
I managed to do decent but gassed in fourth or fifth round. The am guy i did really well against and pretty much could have knocked him out. But Rudy was a diferent story. He was super quick and really worked the body. I found myself trying to stay out at Kicking distance and even lifted my leg a few times lol. All in all I need to work on my jab and get my right hand up more towards my face. I did well and i think soon Ill be able to go after a lower level Pro match..."Its like a ballet of Violence"
