Finally...
After finally getting a 2nd job (even became a manager with no experience!!)
I'm able to afford the down payment ($120) for my gym membership,
I can also afford the supplements, and nutrition vital to my transformation.
I'm happy to say this, and happy to be here, just from reading everyones
stories, and advice, I believe i'm more ready than ever before in this gigantic
step i'm taking in my life.
I'll keep you all posted!
...also (as if you didn't see this coming!), any suggestions on what I should start off with at the gym?
I was thinking around 45 minutes cardio, and 75 minutes on weights...
I can do more, but is that enough or too much?

Sounds good! Congrats!
For you I really think 75 minutes on weights is far too much. It's too much for anyone really. I would look at spending 30-45 minutes doing weights doing compounds excercises rather than isolating.
I would try and do 45min - 1 hour of cardio at a low speed and a slight incline.
You should be able to drop a fair bit of weight in the begining assuming your diet is good.
Speaking of which... Whats your diet like?

just FYI, I only take BCAA and natty protein powder. You could probably save money on the supps and use it on food...but whatever works for you. Good luck.

i started right about where you were last year and my tip would be a great diet and cardio. As for weights I just tried to focus on the biggest muscle groups. I did things like back, chest and legs mainly when trying to drop weight. But I can not stress this enough, build a good diet and try as ahrd as you can not to cheat. I find that every time I cheat it sets back my diet about 3 days. So watch what you eat...

My diet mainly consists of oatmeal, skinless boneless chicken breast, tuna, fish, almonds, salad,
water, pineapple and other fruits here and there. Once in a while natural pineapple juice (EXPENSIVE O_o)
I'm still managing breaking it down to six small meals a day, a little difficult, but i'm still working on
balance that's great for me.
my supplements i'm using currently are ON Whey Protein, Fish Oil and Multivitamin from GNC
My next purchases are LIPO-6, and something that'll give me a boost before my workout (help anyone?)
And because I like to lay down when I come back from the gym, i've been stocking up on DVDs...
...mainly anime, and CD's (DAFT PUNK!)
cause I refuse to grow up, lol.

Sounds like you are off to a great start!!
Be sure to figure out all the calories you are eating everyday and dont cheat yourself. You should be making progress every week so dont let yourself get into a trap about plateauing. If you losses stall, then do something about it.
As for the workouts, you will figure it out, just have fun and work hard.
