Injuries and competitions
Why should a bber be judged on ie .. a torn pec? .. ie freeman ? It's not like he can do anything about it right?.. i don't get it.. he has almost a perfect physique i dont know why they have to score him lower just because he has a torn pec... its not hes fault? .. end of rant

This is why i'm the only person in the world who still thinks Dorian should have won in 1997. He had injuries, yet was still the best he could be, with a brilliant display.
I'd like to know what the judges think about this. I don't think it's fair if they do take points.

well part of bbing is staying injury free, alot of bbers train alot safer closer to shows etc, if some guy trains recklessly and injures himself then yeah he should be judged against that but ofcourse injurys happen regardless which makes it very unfair, but if a runner were to injury his ankle then should he automatically be given a medal?

yeh but thats different.., i just think its kind of unfair, maybe im wrong but in my eyes i feel that sometimes you cant help injury, i don't think bbers are reckless and they are not obviously out to injure themselves.Originally Posted by Hottsauce

Injuries are always unfortunate and depending on the severity, they unfortunatly alter ones physique, its nobodies fault, but nothing can be done.

They have to be marked down for noticable injuries even though they can't help it if an injury happens that no excuse to say there the best on stage, BB is about have perfect proportions of muscle and if your lacking in an area whether is your fault or not you need to get marked for it otherwise were do you draw the line? One guy has better tri's b/c he has better genetics so you cant mark the other guy down with weaker tri's? See what I mean.
