I do full body workouts, with squats (if it is on that day) being my last real exercise. All I'll do is do lighter sets of squats before hand. Depending on how I pyramid I might have 2 warm up sets, before jumping to a 3RM, or I might have 4-5 "warm ups" (pyramiding up) to jump to a 4RM.

Air squats - 4 sets of 12.
Then move to the bar for 2 sets of 5 reps each.
Then ramp up the weight to the working sets.
I do sets of 5 and I like to work my way up. I dont need an injury for 5 minutes of blowing off warming up."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

damn you guys go nuts warmin up. i'll do some dynamic stretching for 10 mins or so, run 6.5 mph on a 1.0 incline on the tread for 10 mins, then head over to the squat rack, bust out a couple of low weight sets, and it's on from there.. on top of that, i do HIIT 3-4x a week, even if it's the day before or of a leg day... for some reason , i don't stay sore for long at all anymore, not even a full day.. prolly has a lot to do with the glutamine i'm taking.

2.5 minutes on the elliptical, i just hit quick start so its a pretty low setting.
Stretch my legs for about 2 more minutes, the key stretch i do here is a strange one though. I assume the squat position in a corner to avoid seeing all the weird looks and put my arms between my legs and use my elbows to push out my knees. I then wiggle around a bit for around 30 seconds, lifting up/side to side etc to get my waist fully ready.
I then do about 5 reps with just the bar then 10 reps with a light weight.
Then its go time.
