    Question **** shoulder HURTS. cracking and POPPING?! ****

    I woke up sunday morning with my left shoulder in pain (when i lift my arm to make a 90 degree angle, it hurts halfway up at about 45 degrees). today is a little better (pain wise), but there's still the popping feeling/sound and crackage whenever i move it around randomly.

    I did shoulders saturday night, and sunday morning it hurts? (maybe a connection?)

    really weird, and worried. will see a doctor about it in a week if it continues.

    I'm experiencing cracking, popping, and soreness in my right shoulder as well. I'm seeing a chiro about it today so I'll let you know what he tells me.

    Sorry it took so long to get back to you....the chiro agreed with me that there was definitely something not right, but there was nothing else he could say or do about it. He referred me to a shoulder specialist but I can't go because the specialist does not accept my insurance.

    I bought a glucosamine (joint) supplement, took a week off from lifting, and am now easing back into it. I'm lifting heavy, but just not maxing out at 110%. I'm also making sure to use only the best form possible.

    Another thing that might interest you...I usually got the worst pops in my shoulder when doing free weight presses with dumbells, so when I did chest I used barbells only...and had very little problems.

    im the oposite..... dumb bells are better for me LOL
