X-Factor and DOMS
Hey guys, I'm currently taking X-factor whilst training on a full-body 3x a week split. This split works well for me and I usually don't get any DOMS.
I've read that XF can cause more DOMS than usual and I think I'm experiencing it a little bit.
I was wondering if I'm still a tad sore come the next workout should I just train on top of it?
Thanks

Three days a week should be fine. You can encounter a lot more DOMS during the first few weeks of training on XF but it should subside. You should be good to go with a split like that though. If you're still sore, sipping some BCAAs and massaging your muscles can help.

I recently read a study that showed working a muscle that was still sore didn't hurt growth or strength.
I'll see if I can dig up the study.
p.s. 18 years old usually means 18 years old.

I work out 5 days a week and I normally don't get sore. However, on Xfactor, the soreness lasted up to three days! I loved it.
