The Imam (prayer leader) reviews the Qur'an before he recites chapters by heart

Yes, as far as I know. There's always someone praying there.

It depends. The Sacred Mosques in Mecca and Medina are always crowded. As for average mosques, some are always packed while others don't have quite as many people. But even those mosques have people who observe the five daily prayers, so mosques are attended pretty much everyday. More people show up on Fridays for the Friday Sermon and Prayer.

Very nice! We can see what the gazillions of petrol dollars have bought. Very impressive!
I would be more impressed if they also preach and practice "Peace and Tolerance" for the infidels.
"The doors of forgiveness are opened wider". Does that include the infidels?
I am not against Islam or muslim. If anything, I am all for the 'peace and love' part in every religion. Just that I like to see muslims condemn and declare jihad and fatwa against those bastards that murder infidels.
(Where is the refreshment for haters? )

Hater #1, have a seat. Will you be dining alone today or did you bring your male dates?

But seriously. Is Islam ever going to preach & practice tolerance and co-existence?
Or is this the wrong thread to discuss this?
If you want this thread to be about how wonderful the last 10 days of Ramadan are, I can understand that. Let me know, I can delete my posts in this thread and we can pick it up somewhere else.

He might get sushed during prayer. After prayer someone would throw him out, probably the police. The same thing that would happen if the person did the same in a courtroom.

yea i figured it would be something like that, wasn't sure if it was more of a rude thing without consequence (other than rightfully dirty stares) or if they would react to it like so. it's just so easy to picture owen wilson or something walking through there cluelessly singing away lol

Again. this isn't meant to be offensive or ignorant, and maybe it belongs more in the ask about Islam thread, but why isn't there a louder, more identifiable denunciation of those who seek to do harm to others in the name of Islam?
I have no problem with Muslims, I think that the vast majority of them make good friends and neighbours, but the image and reputation of the entire religon and those who practice it are being tainted by a small group of extremists and we (in the west) have yet to see any serious response to this.

what if a jew used a jetpack and landed on top of the kabaa and did a dance?
And do you believe that the rock attached to the side of the kabaa is a meteorite?
