I know, I know. Just what you guys needed. ANOTHER jack@ss newb. I'll do everything I can not to be an idiot.
Background: As a kid, I was scrawny. Ran some track in middle school, tennis in high school. No sports in college (I think marching band burns a whopping 10 calories an hour, though! Wooo...). It was then that I gained my weight, eating Taco Bell at 3:00am, sleeping retarded hours, etc. A 12 pack of Mountain Dew would last me two days. At some point I saw my reflection and said "Holy hell! I have man boobs!" At my heaviest, I approached 200 lbs and had little, if any, muscle. I had a few false starts, making basically NO progress. Enough screwing around. Time to get fit.
Current: 24 years old, 5'10" 190 lbs. Calipers claim around 22% BF
Long term goal: 175 lbs. ~8% BF.
Short term goal: Cut down to around 150-160, then start bulking.
After doing some research and lurking BB.com for a while, I think I have a good nutrition plan. ~2300cal, 35/45/20 C/P/F ratio.

In addition to this, a daily multivitamin and fish oil. C&C on the meal plan is welcome, of course.
Workout will consist of Rippetoe's 3 days a week and running 30-40 min 6 days a week.
