In other things, my meet got postponed to 24th, I deadlifted 400 lbs x 11 and 440 x 6 yesterday. Good stuff.

So is it possible to get a work visa for "non-specialized" job like a bouncer?

24th July now. Not much to compete with in Gujarat, but some Powerlifters in India are INSANE dude. Although all of the top tier ones are heavy roid abusers and stay on cycle 365 days a year because they don't know any better.

I know a couple who are wondering why they can't impregnate their wives anymore lulz.

This is mostly true. The PL scene is not very big but the BB scene most certainly is. Most guys are on GH, etc year round as well. Also we're a relatively young-ish country so you don't have a lot of guys who have been lifting big for very long. For example, when I was in Texas from 2006-10 I met a lot of much older experienced and calm Powerlifters who knew a lot and were generally even-kneeled: not bouncing in any extreme direction regarding training. I've yet to meet guys like that in India and it doesn't surprise me. We're very young in that sense.

Beats me. He's just coming off an Umbellical Hernia surgery. We're close but I never retain any of the gear information he speaks...lol...it could really be anywhere from 365 to 90 or whatever else is common. My friendship with him stands strong because we don't discuss training or nutrition or supplementation or steroid usage - because our views are nothing alike. Haha!

Well, tradtional as in just dal rice and roti? I figure if you throw in indian style home chicken, paneer etc. You can survive. Obviously gotta measure out your carbs if your cycling (professionally that is, for us regular folk it isn't that hard)...that's probably the only tough part I guess right?


Also this whole damlurker thing deal...dude looks in good shape, should add a bit of muscle n drop a few pounds but not bad. wtf's the big deal between you guys here. (too lazy to read, cliffs de na bhenchodh.)

No. What happens with most of these guys is that they keep increasing those dosage (and the new thing is GH....not so much roid work per se) and then inevitably they will get hurt or something and then they're out of the game from 6 months to a year...during which time they become fat and unhealthy. Then they start out again...they start shooting and then...well..cycle repeats.

It's sad actually because some of these guys have enough in their cabinet to make a Pro BB'er stop in his tracks... Since Bulker asked me what these top guys take, I asked some questions and got some responses...since I don't know a lot about supplements (my forte is only training) I had to ask about how I should be reacting to all this hahaha!

Here's the good stuff I've filtered out of my traditional Indian diet with four years of experience:

1. Dalia (Indian Oats)
2. Milk (without Malai)
3. Rajma (Kidney Beans)
4. Daal (Yellow Lentils)
5. Basmati Rice (Medium GI, better than White Rice, only consume regularly if you're an ecto though)
6. Boiled Chicken (Even Tandoori Chicken is awesome)
7. Roti (Whole Wheat goodness, plz no ghee though)
8. Malai free Paneer (Casein)
9. Peanuts/Walnuts for dat der polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats.
10. Eggs

Work with all of this. Enough choices to keep you bb'ing forever on a clean diet.

I live in Ahmedabad brah, come down. We'll definitely hang out and hit all the pseudo-cool places in here. If you come around the time of the BB'ing show then we may even go to Mumbai and meet Andalite.
