    Eating an apple before bed?

    Hey, I've heard that u should never eat anything before u go to bed. Would an apple be alright though?

    No if you eat an apple before you go to bed it will cause you to have nightmares... Seriously though this is a silly question no offense. There is nothing wrong with eating before bed, in fact most people on this forum will recommend you do so, even if your dieting. But if we are talking apples, bed time is probably one of the least optimal times to be eating a carb source, unless you workout before bed, because otherwise you would be putting all that insulin inducing carbs to no good use. But generally there is nothing wrong with eating before bed, it's not 'bad' for you... But if your wondering what lots of people eat before bed, try a slow digesting protein source, like say cottage cheese. It feeds your muscles longer than an apple will so your body will be in a catatonic state for a less amount of time.
