Not saying I can pull off 405 shrugs, but those were half reps at best.

No offense but thats like saying I can squat 600lbs but just dropping a foot and popping back up.

I cringe when I see people lift **** like that behind the back. Same thing with pull downs. That's just awesome for your rotator cuff.

Alot of weight man, but you would be better off with full reps and less weight (purly from a musclebuilding perspectave, i dont know the details of your bet)

i dont get you guys...never satisfied, i thought the form was good, no leg/hip drive jsut pure elevation and depression.

breathing sound was guy beside my camera lol

Idc about the form, that is terrible for your rotator cuff, whereas front shrugs aren't nearly as bad. I just don't understand why people insist on doing them like that.

how are they bad for rotator cuff? theres no rotation at all really...ive injured both my RC's and the excersize gives me no discomfort.
behind the back i find really works the lower trap/spinea errectors well

ur doing 1/2 reps, u need to bring traps up all the way and squeeze at top. lower weight...........

You don't have to rotate anything to damage a rotator cuff, it can happen a lot of ways. The issue is that it's not meant to comfortably support weight behind your back like that, it really just puts extra pull on it. I'm not saying you'll get injured obviously, I'm just saying it does increase the chance of something happening.

tssss...you guys crack me up, that form was good, if i did 315 it'd look the same. Ive seen WAYYYYY WORSE form then what im doing with less weight.
not gunna e-argue anymore though, my traps are gunna be sore tomorrow and there growing which is what matters to me.

C'mon seriously you cant say they were good shrugs watch the video your shoulders would be lucky to rise 2 inches.

That being said if the sit works then keep doing it i sometimes sacrifice perfect form for higher weights to shock my muscles and i have had immense gains from this, particularly on my Bi's.
