Chest exercises that don't work shoulders??

Hey guys, recovering from a minor shoulder injury and want to do some chest work.

I've always found bench gives my shoulders a hard time, what can I do that won't work them??

There is nothing. Sorry dude. The chest muscle is meant to adduct the shoulder so there is no way to work it without the shoulder.
Flies maybe better simply because you are only putting a portion of the stress on due to much less weight.

i was thinking this the other day, and only took me a couple seconds to realize there isn't any chest exercise that doesn't recruit any shoulders.

Ah yeah I was afraid of that, how about limiting shoulder work?

    Pec deck?

I've also heard doing bench but not going all the way down to chest limits shoulder involvement.. any others?

Less tension on your shoulder for sure, but your arms are going to be involved in nearly every upper body exercise.

Pec deck has always given my shoulders problems. Just make sure you keep your shoulder blades pinched during your bench, take a lot of stress off your RC.
