I've never been a huge fan of a three day split. The lowest split I do is a 4 day. For me, pairing shoulders and back has always been good, while doing biceps triceps one day, and legs one day with chest on another.
Give a try to one of the following splits! Just my experience..
I always (like most) like opening a week on chest so that all muscle groups are fresh. I also like pairing Legs and Back so that I can do deadlifts as a transition from my leg workout into my back workout.
