3-Day Spilt question

Hey, I'm currently doing a 3 day split that looks like this:

Sunday: Rest/cardio
Monday: rest/cardio
Tuesday: Back/Triceps/abs
Wednesday:rest/cardio
Thursday: Shoulders/legs/abs
Friday:rest/cardio
Saturday: Chest/biceps/abs


I've gotten nice gains so far using this, but should I switch to a push/pull/the rest 3-day split instead?


The reason I have them split up is because the 3 days in between seems to be sufficient to stop any over training.

I've never been a huge fan of a three day split. The lowest split I do is a 4 day. For me, pairing shoulders and back has always been good, while doing biceps triceps one day, and legs one day with chest on another.

Give a try to one of the following splits! Just my experience..

1)Chest
2)Arms
3)Rest
4)Legs
5)Back/Shoulders
6)Cardio
7)Rest

-or-

1)Chest/Triceps -or- Chest/Shoulders
2)Cardio
3)Back/Biceps -or- Biceps/Triceps
4)Rest
5)Legs/Shoulders -or- Legs/Triceps -or- Legs/Back
6)Cardio
7)Rest

I always (like most) like opening a week on chest so that all muscle groups are fresh. I also like pairing Legs and Back so that I can do deadlifts as a transition from my leg workout into my back workout.

ive gotten good results so far i started this about 2 months ago

1 Chest, tri , abs

3 Back , bi , abs

5, legs, shoulders abs
