The Grocery-Store Sale Thread

I read the rules, and I don't think this would be illegal on the forum, but if so, the mods can remove it--no big deal. I thought it would be cool if we all let others know when we find a sweet sale or mark down at the grocery store on items commonly discussed here. This isn't for supplements, so no other supplement sites or anything sold in the cyberstore will be discussed. Keep in mind that all stores do not hold the same sales, but this will be a way for us all to at least check it out and save some money!

I'll start--yesterday I picked up 8 dozen eggs at kroger. They had them for $0.99. There was a limit of 4, but go back for more!

Weird that you post this, I just got back from my H-E-B and the fresh chicken breast is on sale for $1.79 a lb, the extra lean ground beef is only $4.18 for a lb (usually like $8.00), $8 for 2lb's of it. The ground turkey is $1.29 a lb. I went in to just grab a few things and ended up spending $92.00.

This may be only for Texas locations since hurricane Ike just blew through here though, not sure. Also the bison is on sale for $4.99, usually $8.99.
