BodyFat Help?
Hello,
I could really use some help figuring out where I am.
To give some background, I was way overweight, 210+ when I was 16. I lost 50lbs my last two years of high school, but I lost it all the wrong way and you can see what it has done to my body. I am currently 5'11 and I weigh 155 but you would never know it.
I have my diet on track have been doing push ups and crunches nightly and plan on adding more bodyweight exercises throughout the year. I plan on joining a gym and starting weight training in January. Any advice you can give me towards what I should be doing via exercise would be appreciated. I have been eating very clean and have seen some nice results, as well

Thanks for your response. I highly doubt I am anywhere below 20% BF but I would think I am no higher than 22-23%. My goal is to get sub 20% and then start lifting weights. I should also add my diet..
Currently it is something like this:
Breakfast - 1/2 cup Oats - 3/4 cup skim milk & banana
Lunch: Tuna/Turkey Sandwich or Chicken Breast w. green beans
PWO - Whey shake w. yogurt & skim milk
Dinner: WW Pasta or Chicken breast with sweet potato and spinach
Snack: CC w. 2 tb PB
Tea: yerba mata
Any help with my diet would also be appreciated

My guess would be around 19-22%, I am around 15%.
Get a gym membership and get a good beginners workout program. Take a daily log and watch your progress. It will keep you motivated.
If you lost 50lbs in the last two years you obviously have a fairly decent diet. Most likely you could keep a similar diet just increase your protein intake to about 150g /day at least.
Congrats on all your hard work in loosing the weight, and good luck in putting back on the right kind of weight!!!!

Smeg,
Thanks for your encouragement. My diet is pretty good right now and it's just a matter of trying to be active everyday and hopefully see some results. I'm excited for the next couple months, I feel confident that within six months my body is going to look very different and I'll get to post on here again with a big fat smile on my face

First of all get a gym membership and about one-two years of training and eating right you'll be in good shape. Make sure your eating at least 7 small meals a day.
