Could always do what my mate did before he was old enough.
Got a fake ID from the UK called a UK Student ID Card (off some website that was set up to create ID's for props) and whenever we went somewhere he would put on a British accent and talk about how warm the weather was to the bouncers.

For QLD what you do is get the birth certificate of some ones thats 18 and go to the department of transport and ask for an 18+ card and they make one up for like 16 bucks and your good to go, just means you can't go anywhere with this person if they are scanning ID's cos they'll come up twice and you ****ed, $3000 on the spot fine.
THIS METHOD WORKS COUNTLESS FRIENDS HAVE DONE IT
