exceeding target heart rate

I am pretty out of shape, started at 280 about 3 weeks ago, I am down to about 270. I am doing cardio and lifting 5 days a week anyways.

I am wondering do I still burn a good amount of fat if I am exceeding my target rate.

I am at about 90 or resting, but I do cardio right after lifting so I start at about 130s and get to about 160-70 during cardio and I go about 40 minutes

that range itself is acceptable but I wouldn't push harder until you drop some more weight and get in better cardio condition. Since your resting HR is 90 bpm, keep it moderate until it's below 70 bpm...

What are you considering your Target HR? How do you feel when you hit 160+? Are you nauseated or dizzy?

I think my target is about 140, I don't feel dizzy or uncomfortable at that hr, so I guess I am fine, I was just checking.

thank you
