carb ups hurt your stomach??
So ive been in ketosis for 4 weeks now using the palumbo diet. My first carb up meal was some west indian fod called "roti" and "doubles" Basically its a large tortilla looking thing with meat and potatoes inside, tastes awesome but man i felt so sick afterwards.
Then my next carb up the week after was pizza.(bad choice i know) I had like 5 slices of pizza and felt sick for hours. I guess im eating too much at once? I try to get in alot of carbs cause i only have one carb meal, any suggestions?

Its not so much that it is hurting your stomach, it is the fact that it is giving your digestive system a kick in the azz to get moving.
When I carb up I spend a lot of time on the can poopin.

i just ate a bowl of oats with my whey shake and a small rice krispies treat after i got done working out and now i feel like death, i feel really bloated haha

Careful with refined starches and high fiber grains (oats).
Sweet potatoes and quinoa are my go-to carbs: no stomach upset. Short grain brown rice is also easy on the stomach.

I've been on the keto diet for a long time, and I've stopped doing carb-ups for that very reason--too much stomach pain and bloating.

yea being in keto and then eating carbs again always makes my stomach feel like crap

I carbed up with a lot of sushi (=rice) the other day, and I had...pardon me...liquid doodoo the whole next day. I guess it comes with the territory.

Yeah good choice, my wife and I rarely carb up these days, though when we do the next day we ask each other why we did it. I tend to feel like I was drunk the night before, clouded thinking much of the next day. If I have to eat carbs because of going out I try to eat big before I go out to minimise the amount I will want to eat outside.
