Need Assistance
I have a shoulder and chest injury that caused me to need surgery. The injury caused the doctors to need to take 90% of the muscle out of my left shoulder and chest. I am asking for recommendations on how to stabilize the shoulder so I can try strengthening the muscle that I have left. The shoulder also dislocates when to much pressure is put on it. The dislocations makes it difficult to actually lift to failure. Thank You

I have gone to doctors they don't think there is anything to do. I am trying to get input from people with a more optimistic outlook.

I'm lifting weights but I can't seem to make any gains. Without being able to work till failure I can't seem to actually make any progress.

Right now, concentrate with low weights. Use rehab-type movements, which will strengthen the supporting musculature and tissues.

Have you talked with a sports medicine specialist? This may be your best course of action. I'm not qualified to help you.

see a sports doc, get a good physio for ongoing rehab.
try Pilates- no joke, they are CRAZY about scapular stability and the sheer effort of holding your shoulder down during the workout will help alot.
plus, a good view should cheer you up.
