What's the actual purpose of supersets? Is it for growth, definition, time savings?
Also I believe an example of a normal superset is bench press for X reps and them immediately do flyes for Y reps. Take a little rest and repeat.
Has anyone had any sucess supersetting, but with another muscle group. As an example; bench press for X reps and then immediately do pull ups for Y reps. Then repeat again with no rest because to some extent you've rested your chest while you worked your back.

The purpose is intensity (and hopefully growth) and time saving for sure. You should try to complete a workout in 45-60 minutes anyway as studies show that hormones drop pretty sharply after that time. So supersetting would allow you to get more sets in.
I've tried supersetting bench with flyes, bench with back, and bench with tris. Depends on your goals, but all should be effective. Personally I like pairing it with back the most though.-You have to do what others won't to achieve what others don't.
