yeah, this is actually my 4th show but the first one i consider having done everything right for in terms of dieting and training. I refuse to do an open until I win a novice. Just makes sense, ya know? I'm just praying to god I win this year lol third wasted summer in a row if I dont. We'll see though

You look sensational and I was shocked to see you competing as a novice. On the side chest just tweak a tad bit more towards the judges and really squeeze that pec closest to the curtain. Also, on the rear double Bi try to straighten your back a little - you look to be leaning to the left a bit. On that pose really squueze the glutes hard too.
Never know who is going to show up but I'd be shocked if you didn't win your class. Sensational conditioning and I guarantee no one's legs will be as ripped and hard as yours. Go take what's yours!

yeah nah i totally agree with the side chest. its actually one of my stronger poses just at the point the photos were taken it was like 11 at night, i had a horrible day and was exhausted so i kind of just threw it. Surprising too since my chest is one of my weakest parts. Thanks so far for the input much appreciated

Oh yeah I've done those late at night poses and know exactly what you mean. Can barely stand up let alone hit a proper pose. Did you do our own prep or did you use someone to help you? I won my WNBF pro card at that show and have fond memories of it.

I'm using the same trainer I used last year. Last year though I'd had no intentions to do a show and ended up starting dieting at 8 1/2 weeks out. So this year I gave him 15 weeks so I could see how he really works and I'm nothing but pleased. Started at 190 down to 154.2 today so I'm anticipating weighing in around 156 by the time I get to the show. All I know is anyone who's on stage with me better be ready to pose to the death cause I ain't lettin this show slip out of my hands easily haha believe it

Wow - 36 lbs lost in 15 weeks - that is pretty impressive. You look ripped so you should do great. Are you going to use those posing trunks in the show?

haha sadly those "posing trunks" are drawn on in paint. i do use a black pair though haha. yeah i dunno i think its cause year round i dont eat very clean, moreso like clean but with bad stuff to it (ie. chicken in the form of chicken cutlets, potatos with butter, etc) so when i do cut its like this huge transformation and my body just reacts. On the same token, if i were to do something drastic before a show my body would react equally as strong so its kind of a double edged sword for me

First off......you do not look like your 154lbs....THAT IS A GOOD THING!!!! cause you look like you 185lbs.....I would love to see a before picture of you, prior to this prep.
I will be damn surprised if there is a novice out there who can beat you with that condition....HOWEVER, you never know who will show up.....Best of luck, and I can't wait to see the show pics.

I hate it when people do this.
Look he looks absolutely outstanding... but you have no idea who's going to show up. Nothing makes a guy feel worse than when everyone tells him he's got it in the bag and then he doesn't win. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO'S GOING TO SHOW UP! Wish him best of luck but don't tell him 'no one is beating you'
/end rant

Yeah man, you're in great shape. You like a little pale in the face, though. You nervous? Good luck.

Took the class, the overall, and am apparently going to Hoboken tomorrow to participate in the photoshoot they do with the winners I guess? Haha hope that goes well although this being my first ever victory I shall look quite unknowledgable I'm sure. Big thanks to Geo for being quite the competitor and one of the nicest guys around, we def gotta train one of these days. To everyone on here who had kinds words or anyone I got to meet today, the pleasure was all mine and I only look to progress from here. Hercules 2010 Open class here I come! haha

Congrats. You looked great and I'm pretty sure you are ready for the Hercules 2009. Legs looked sharp and posing was perfect. Add a little more shoulder size and you will be hard to beat.

highly appreciate the kind words and support. I def tried harder than I ever have in my life for this show and and my only goal was to hopefully win my weight class so as not to be disappointed in myself haha. As for the Hercules 09, my plan was to take next year off just to grow and adjust to the new school ill be going to and such. My trainer Ryan Sullivan will be looking to enter the open class at that Hercules for the first time so I'll be in the role for him he was for me last night haha. But who knows, maybe Naturalmania 09 I'll see where I'm at. Again, thank you all for the compliments/critiques and god am I scared of attempting to go up against some of those open guys. They're freaks! haha
