Why??
One of my passions in life besides lifting is mountain biking. I injured my hand some time ago going down a really choppy downhill as fast as I possibly could . The intense vibrations, the holding on for a long period of time, and the speed really messed up my knuckle-area in my left hand. The pain has been there for over 3 weeks now, with very little improvement so far, even with a week into ActivJoint. I have not yet seen a doctor because there are no signs of bruising or inability of hand movement. The pain is mostly a result of using my hand. I feel it picking up dumbbells, and it's still there when I hop on my bike. I've stopped riding for almost a week so far, there is little improvement so far.

Please note I do not normally use Joint Supplements or have joint issues other than my hand as of now. I just want this damn thing healed so I can go out and ride!!!

When I look at other joint supplements, they all practically look the same. I wanted something with more potency and promise than the average run of the mill joint supplement. I wanted to get better, and get better fast. I love riding and now I can't go because of my hand. My wish is for this supplement to do it's best in healing me up and fast!


Other Supplements
I take a multi-vitamin, ActivJoint (which I will stop for this log), and whey protein. I used to use a lot of supplements, but now I'm very much a simple guy.


Log Format
One thing I want to do for my first log is to cut the crap. I will not rate the product until the end of my pain or bottle. I will also not give you some peachy review like "did not mix well, tasted bad, kinda felt it, 9/10 excellent product!"

I will rate the product out of 5.
0- Didn't do sh**.
1- Might have helped, don't know.
2- Helped a little, but not much.
3- Worked.
4- Met my expectations. And worked well.
5- Exceeded my expectations. Excellent results.

What are my expectations? That I can heal a bit faster than the good old glucosamine, msm, chrondroiton combo. Since this is an injury that is likely to get better and I don't have daily joint issues that need to be met like other people, it would be conceivable if the product produced excellent results. However, the pain is constant, and over the weeks the pain has probably dropped 0.1 every day from a 1-10 scale. It is getting better at a constant, but slow rate, rather than just getting better in a few days. In other words, the pain difference is very, very small from day to day. Recovery per day is little, if anything. In this situation, I will be able to gauge if this product is doing anything.

I will update every 3-5 days give or take for that period. My bottle arrives tomorrow, expect the next update early to mid next week.

I started mine yesterday, really interested to see how it runs for me. Osteobolin-c was a noticeable benifit to cardio and general joint/bone feeling for me.

Usage Update #1

September 19th - 22nd Report


I can already tell this product is just pure gold. I took 4 caps in the AM every day. Compared to good old MSM, Chondroitin, and Glucosamine (lets abbreviate these 3 as M/C/G) alone there is a huge difference, when I dosed those, it didn't feel like it was really doing anything, even at 2x the dosage amount on some days.

However, with Osteo-Sport, I immediately felt like it was providing relief. Every morning I woke up, my hand was a little achy (24 hours after last dose), after taking Osteo-Sport, it went away very quickly. As far as joint maintenance for you people who have chronic joint pain, THIS IS the product for you. You can feel it much more over the standard M/C/G.

Overall, my hand is getting better, very slowly still, but slightly faster than without taking the product. Excellent thus far.

I noticed it a few days ago. Server at work, we have an upstairs we use when we get packed. Running up and down all night, my legs felt... "lubed" I guess. It was nice.

Log was Paused, now Resumed

Hey guys, I went out of town for quite some time and didn't take my bottle with me. I haven't used this product for about a week, so I'm just posting to let you all know this log has not been abandoned, just slightly paused. I have started since yesterday again and will post updates in another 5 days or so.

I still have pain in my hand to work with, so we'll see where this takes me.

Usage Update #2

October 1 - 15

I missed probably 5 days throughout this period (spread out), which is a little messy on my part, but I will attempt to keep on track. However, from my missing on these days, I noticed that on the days I did take this product, it provided relief for the whole day. The days that I missed it, my hand was a little bit achy.

This leads me to believe that this product is great for daily relief, as far as long term healing goes, my hand is slowly getting better and has improved over time. I have since started mountain biking again, but lowering my speed and loosening my grip in order to save my hands.

Overall, this product provides much more relief than M/C/G for daily maintenance/relief. If you need a daily joint supplement, this is honestly it.

I'm sorry to hear that you were hospitalized! Are you feeling better/able to do anything? Man...well, I'm glad the product was working for you. I personally love Cissus, and have always been a big advocate of it. I hope you feel better man, take care!
