Day 2 of Keto - when does it get easier?
How long did it take before your feelings of hunger went away? I woke up starving this morning and while I've eaten plenty of fat today, I'm dying for some oatmeal. Which day was the hardest for you?

I'm on my 14th day of keto, and it got much easier after the 4th day! Hang in there.

It gets much easier after the first few days, and you'll find that you don't really miss carby foods after a short while. At first I was kind of wondering what I was going to eat (I wasn't a big steak person and I'm picking about veggies) but my diet now actually has more variety in it then when I was eating more carbs.
What do your meals look like? Are you eating several small meals throughout the day? I initially thought I'd be doing that (since that's what I did before keto) but on keto 3 - 4 bigger meals works better for me and I am pretty full/satisfied in between meals.

^^^^ This -- it gets much easier.
I am on day 6 of keto (again lol) and as usual the first few days you feel odd and then hunger goes away and you feel like running a marathon.

First 3 or 4 days are hard. Just keep eating the fats and don't worry about the calories. Once you are in ketosis, you should feel lots better and can start managing your food better. Tough it out, it will never be this hard again.

I was doing IF before this, so I only eat about 3 meals a day. I was planning on not eating breakfast per my usual routine, but I was starving when I woke up so I ate a cup of 2% cottage cheese, some almond butter, and a piece of string cheese. For lunch I had a huge salad with 3 eggs, flax seeds and caesar dressing. In between meals I'm having coffee with heavy cream to try to suppress my appetite. So far today, I've had 1114 calories, 90g fat, 57g protein and 18g carbs (73-20-7).
I'm glad to hear it gets better soon. That's what I was hoping everyone would say!

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday I ended up eating around 2000kcal, which is more than normal for me if I'm cutting. Today I was aiming for 1700, but I think I'll give myself a break and eat more if I need to.

Oh, that's cool! Your macros look good so far! It will get easier...after the first few days it is smooth sailing (All of my favourite foods were generally carby ones before and the thought of carbs doesn't really appeal to me anymore.)

Eat some extremely calorie dense foods - walnuts/almonds/pecans. That always kills my sugar (carb) cravings.
