She refuses to read articles supporting my side and continues to limit my weight lifting. She already tells me that I'm trying to look like a boy and no one will like me =P haha
With that, I have only ever been able to use 5 lb weights. I would say I've gotten pretty decent results with those..but I'm tired of them! As soon as I'm 18 I want to get a membership at a gym so I can lift HEAVY! And do it without her nagging me.
Now, I guess I just want to know...everything you know haha...What should I start with when I start lifting heavier weights? Do I need any equipment besides weights (like for safety, etc.)?
Also, does anyone have good ideas for things I could lift that I'd have around the house? I don't have too much money to spend on equipment..and may not have much for a gym membership when the time comes =P So homemade equipment idea's would be awesome too!
I'm totally new at this obviously so any help would be appreciated!
Thank you much =)

girls are able to use body weight exercise better than guys. they arent as strong so they can still stick with a low rep range while having it still high intensity.
google for a body weight exercise website that can teach you.
yoga is also a great one. utilizing alot of your own weight.
but exercise is great for girls
especially chest. pushes the boobs out more(yes serious)
my girlfriends sunken chest is now coming out alot better now.
