I had a posterior labrum repair 4 years ago. Every since then my shoulder has improved but if I begin lifting too frequently it will cause me to have to sit out for a week or two. I lift correctly to avoid further injury however I was wondering if anyone has any experience using a shoulder support brace to improve stability and reduce irritation on non-shoulder days. Such as on back and triceps days.
Here is one that I have considered trying. http://www.amazon.com/EVS-SB02-Shoul...=pd_sbs_auto_6
If any one has tried one of these type braces any input as to whether or not they help would be great. Also anywhere locally I can get one??
Thanks,
Josh
Thanks, I looked at the one with the straps. I was afraid it may be a little too restrictive for lifting and doing movements such as lat pulls..????
Also any idea on sizing I have pretty bulky shoulders and about 20 inch arms. The arm area on the brace looks pretty small. I am about 220 pounds though. Didnt know if I needed large or x-l.
