I took a week off from weight training starting from january 21-25 to go to Vegas. I've been reigning on the buffet and eating so much for each meal that I felt so bloated. I've been doing pushups every other day and have been eating 2 power bars a day to make up my meal intakes. Ever since I came back from my trip it appears that the six pack i had once is fading away. Is this normal when taking a week off from weight training? Should I consume the same # of calories on breaks like these as if I was working out on a daily basis or should I consume less since i'm not working out? please help and respond

It depends. If you care about haveing a 6-Pack and being ripped year round then your should take in less calories, since you will doing less (this will definately take out all of the fun of a vacation). But, if you don't mind adding some fat that will be easily taken off in a week or 2 then go on a binge and eat everything and have fun doing it. Just remember that vacations are supposed to be fun. You don't have to stay in your best shape year round.

if u wanna bulk up... u shouldn't worry about ur 6 pac.. u cant have both YET!!... so i suggest that u eat away.. gain ur weight... bulk up to ur desired weight... n then concentrate on burning the fat around ur mid section away.... its a catch 22 situation
