    Oat Meal vs Corn Flakes

I am trying to put on some serious mass. Currently as part of my breakfast I take 'Corn Flakes' with milk and 2-3 slices of whole wheat bread...

I see many people taking oat meal in breakfast. Should I change to Oat Meal..
I mean which one is better 'corn flakes' vs oatmeal ?

Oatmeal is more calorie dense. A cup of steel-cut oats is 600 cals.
A cup of corn flakes is like 120 or something.

    Probably doesn't matter

I would go with oat meal due to the amount of nutrients it contains over corn flakes.

    My $0.02.

I think your choice depends on your philosophy of diet. For example, if you are into nutrient timing, the corn flakes is the much better choice based on the fact that it has a higher GI than oatmeal.

    Frosted Flakes > Oatmeal

Tastes MUCH better and as long as the Corn Flakes fit into your macros, keep 'em in your diet. Why fix it, if it ain't broke.

    Probably doesn't matter
Density of a food in a cup doesn't really mean much.

Oats and corn flakes actually have about the same nutrient density per unit mass. And I'll bet that if you ground up (or chewed up) cornflakes, they also have the same absolute calorie density.
No sir, I don't like it.
