ecto- long & lean is the easy one
meso- athletic is a good desription.....teacher just tried 2 tell us it was weight evenly distributed & only men were mesos....coming from a strong chubby italian woman wasn't gonna argue, but knew she was wrong.
endo- is more round, so husky is a nice way of saying it i guess

FYI, the terms meso, endo, ectomorph were actually developed by a Psychologist, William Sheldon, to describe the different "constitutional" personality temperments associated with these body types. Subsequently these types were extrapolated from their original intention, which was psychological, to one that was specifically physical.

The following is a very brief overview of Sheldon's constitution types and associated personality temperaments. As you will see the association between specific body types and personality temperaments was never proven.

Anywhey, I don't buy into all that crap.
Proper diet and hard training is what achieves a great body no matter what "style" you are.
Just wut methinks.

I never could figure out which type I am, so the categories only served to confuse me more and I'm already a pretty confused individual.

Yes, but the "proper" diet and "proper" training will be different for each bodytype.
An endomorph who treats cardio like a 6 foot 130 pound ecto, trains low volume with long rest periods and eats lots of carbs like an ecto will not "achieve" a great body or even make minor improvements. Similarly, an ecto who does 5 days of cardio a week, does circuit training for weights and eats 50 gram of carbs a day will not gain any size or muscle in almost all cases.
