Forearms

Hi all,
I have a question about the skin/ extra meat on the underneath side of forearms. I know that there are flexors and extensors, so i guess it's the flexors that I need to work on? any exercises you guys know of? My problem is like when I cross my arms there is a little extra skin that I can see on the bottom. I am working on some weight loss, but even at my lowest weight even in high school, I've always had this. Are there any exercises I can do to correct this? Any suggestions?

Hi there - You will find information on forearm training here:

http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/ForeArmWt.html

Look at Wrist Flexors and Wrist Extensors. You can tighten up the skin a little by increasing the size of the muscle underneath. If there is a considerable amount of loose skin that has lost its elasticity then your next option is to have it surgically removed.

Also try some reverse barbell curls or reverse ez bar curls. Adding meat to the "top" portion of your forearms will help fill up the space.

I agree. Wrist extensions and flexors work wonders too as well as farmers walk.

Good luck!
