Hello I'm trying to find stories about people who have gone through either of these procedures and they seem to be few and tend to end long before the final resolution.
Could anyone who has had a bankart arthroscopic repair with at least 2 screws or a latarjet procedure tell me about life after full physical therapy recovery completion (roughly 1 or more years after surgery)?
Specifically I'm most interested in the effect of (particularly the latarjet) the two procedures on Overhead Press, Pullups, Muscleups, Chest press and Incline chest press... and it seems like a massive stretch but would I be completely insane to attempt a powerful jerking motion like a snatch to an overhead press after recovery? What about a body weight handstand? Will I ever be able to throw a ball with my full strength without fear again?

based on the number of views and replys is it accurate to say that a latarjet procedure is a death sentence for power movements overhead presses bench presses etc?
