    Muscle Pharm Assault and Bullet Proof Log

    Welcome to my testing of Muscle Pharm's Assault/Bullet Proof Stack.

    Very generally, Assault is pre-workout booster; Bullett Proof is an HGH output optimizer and sleep enhancer, at least from my understanding of the products. However, I haven't seen a real write-up of them yet, so...yeah.

    My goals during this testing:
    Evaluate the efficacy of BP and A in enhancing my workouts, athletic capabilities, and recovery.

    Training goals:
    Enhance vertical jump by 2 inches, decrease body fat by %1-2, maintain muscle mass.

    Statistics:
    74 inches height
    220 lbs
    13% Bodyfat (blame vacation)
    34.25 inch waist
    VJ: ~19inches
    And yes people, I know. my athletic ability is astoundingly terrible
    Lifts:
    Back Squat: 365 x 5
    Bench: 245 x 5
    Seated military presses: 135 x 10
    Chin-ups: BW x 8

    Diet Program:
    Roughly, the averages come to--> 1800 calories--> %45/45/10 P/F/C
    Why so G.D. Low? my metabolism sucks, and excepting an hour of physical exertion during work, I leave the sedentary lifestyle of your average college student.
    Refeeds come roughly every 7-10 days, depending on recovery/metabolic slowdowns (as gauged, albeit probably horribly inaccurately, via a thermometer @ waking)

    Example day of eating:
    (730AM) Meal 1: 0.5 cups whey protein isolate/concentrate blend, 1 large egg (i.e. 52 grams protein, 10 grams F, 5 grams C) +5 fish oil caps
    (1000AM) 4 low-fat cheese sticks (32 grams proteins, 10 g F, 2 g C)
    (1230PM) 1 package organic turkey breast (i.e. 45 grams protein, 2g F, 5 grams C)
    (500PM) 6 low-fat cheese sticks (48grams protein, 15 g F, 3 g C) + 5 fish oil caps
    (900PM) 0.5 cup whey protein isolate (48g protein, 2 gram F, 2 g C)
    (1130PM) either 8oz %96lean ground beef/ 8 oz salmon/ 12 oz tilapia -- nutrients depend + 1-2 cups vegetables
    Last meal is dependent on training intensity/activity level throughout day

    Average day totals: ~275grams PRO/ ~65grams FAT/ 25 grams CHO

    Training Style:
    Vertical enhancement and strength retention are the two main goals.
    I will be following the Intermediate Reactive-Focused program pulled to a T from Kelly Baggett (I can't commend his coaching abilities highly enough) Vertical Jump Bible
    In order to not divulge Kelly's work, I will only be reporting the main lifts from each session, and VJ numbers.

    Supplementation:
    I will be dosing Assault and Bullet Proof according to label instructions; In addition, I will be adding in 10 grams of fish oil a day, and SAM-e @ 800mg a day. (I have been taking those two for weeks now...so I can objectively judge A and BP's effects.)

    just finished my first workout with assault, and ill say i WAS impressed by the focus...i could feel those tendon's snappin (in a good way) and squats felt light to the point of me almost getting careless with racking and reracking. good **** so far...

    ill let everyknow how bullet proof goes...gotta retake the ACT (for scholarship money stuff) 2moro morning tho...should be a ****ing blast haha

    assault really does kick ass as a pre-workout stim...the only thing on my mind during the entire session (45min) was training....nothing else. awesome. and pumps were decent for such low carbs...noticed my rest periods going down in duration almost instinctively due to enhanced recovery.

    bullet proof hasnt really done anything besides provide slight anxiolytic effects that i can most strongly attribute to gaba and phenibut...i have a feeling though its effect are cumulative

    Give it a week or so and you should start noticing the results from arecovery standpoint.

    CONCLUSION
    BODY COMP: down 3 lbs, and accordingly lost %1 bodyfat...good ****. although i can't really say the supplements impacted that for the most part.
    STRENGTH: maintained really, however anytime you're losing bodyfat without losing strength, its a definite plus
    SUPPLEMENTS: impressed with Assault definately, however Bullet Proof didn't really give me any noticeable effects beyond maybe some reduced soreness. Taste wise, both we're good. no negative side effects from either. Assault was really good for its enhancements of inter-set recovery, focus, and pumps.

    ASSAULT: 4/5 (points off for loss of focus after continued use
    BULLET PROOF: 3/5 (points off for cost, lack of efficacy)

    I took MP's Bullet proof for the first time last night, excited about its claims, and it acted like a pre-workout. I followed the directions, which say to take 1-1/2 scoop with cold water 30-45 min prior to bed. I took 1 scoop 30 min prior and not 5 min later I got the warm sensation, the needles/tingles/prickles (however you put it) all over for a couple moments like I took a pre-workout and then all seemed to go normal after about 10 min. But when I went to bed I couldn't sleep, kept getting random erections that wouldn't go down and was just... restless. Now my wife said that I would doze of and snore for a few moments but then id be up again. This went on from midnight to 630am when I decided to take a sleeping aid and a PB&J= lights out.
    I will try again tonight with a half scoop and see how that works.
