Going to Dermatologist for Stretch Marks

So i just started to see some stretch marks on my upper chest near my armpits, not too bad yet, but they are def there on both sides. I was wondering if anyone's ever been to the dermatologist to get them checked out and what the doctor said? I do have a dermatologist, but it takes months to get an appointment.

I went to my doctor about it as well, and he said that there wasn't much to do. He said that they would probably be there for a year or two, but fade slightly until they are barely noticeable. Just use cocoa butter or bio-oil, and that should help fade it out quicker.

Come on mate stop being such a woman. They are just stretchmarks, thats what happens when you lift. They will stop and fade just rub some vitimin E on there or something.

Although they are unsightly, consider them a sign that your body grew rapidly.

Just leave them be, dont play with them, dont pull at them, just let em heal.

I have them on my shoulders by my chest... People sometimes ask me if I've had shoulder surgery.... Not really anything you can do to help it... They'll fade with time tho

i had stretch marks in my armpit area and yeah i used vitamin e and i noticed it helped.. made them less purple looking and faded off a tad

Have you ever seen weeds? U-turn has (had) some big ass stretch marks on his shoulders and they are clearly visible, they just look lighter in color to his skin

apply cocoa butter and vitamin E cream to the areas with stretch marks. They are the best way to really help skin problems.

Yeah, its easy to call someone a bitch for trying to get rid of stretch marks, but it really does look unpleasant when they start appearing. I had to put a **** load of dream tan to cover them up for my first show. Ive tried cocoa butter, bio oil, and mederma. Mederma work pretty well but its very expensive. When i started supplementing on vitamin A and E, it prevents the formation of stretch marks pretty well. Give it a try. Don't listen everyone else. I got stretch marks on my chest, back, lower back, glutes, groin, and triceps and they are not something you would show off.

Going to a doctor would not have been a bad idea. Ignore the flaming. We have insurance for a reason. Use it.
