    Post Does it matter what time of the day you workout?

    I personally just do it an hour after a small meal in the afternoon but just out of curiosity, does it matter if you workout in the morning or at night?

    yes and no. Dont train on an empty stomach (like just after waking up), and it really depends on the person. I feel like i have most energy later in the afternoon as opposed to early in the morning.

    Try out different times and see what works for you

    yea and if you take pre-workouts in the evening, then going to sleep will suck, at least for me.

    I can only workout in the midday-early evening. Night time is my study time and I would fall asleep in the middle of the workout if i tried in the morning

    it says that there isnt a definite answer but evening is the good because thats when your strength is the greatest, less injuries etc. but morning is also good better becoause it boosts your metabolism more and you have a lot of energy in the morning.

    in my opinion it seems like youre gonna get a lot of broscience when youre looking for an answer and it all depends on when you would rather workout and the time of day when you have the most energy and feel the best.

    Working out for me almost gives me more energy through out the day then if i were to work out in the evening. Plus i get more energy during the workout using pre's or not. Im having to workout in the evenings now because of new jobs, but I would love to go back to the AM workouts.
