I just figured I'd mention this, and see if anyone else has bothered to play around with it, I mention it here 'cuz I don't know where the topic of sleep fits into the forums.
Eitherway, a few days ago I began to sleep with my legs only slightly elevated, a few pillows, and that seemed to be enough because I have a fuller, deeper, and more punctual sleep, less sleeping-in, less fatigue on waking-up, etc. usw.
I figured it would be a possible change due to the idea of a power nap where you elevate your legs a bit more and nap for an hour or so and feel charged and ready to go because all the blood's been largely in your chest/head area.
I figured since I've been focusing more on upper body, that my legs are pretty large as it is, I'd make it easier for my body to utilize that blood in the upper body rather than the lower body.
Could just be voodoo and magic, but worthy of a conversation none the less.

you could also have some low back and/or hamstring tension. that posture would alleviate it some and could lead to less sleep interuption due to reduced tightness, ache, etc.

Training regularly but no progress?
You need one or more of these: more food, more weight, more reps or more rest.

That sleep position with the legs above the heart lowers sympathetic hormones (stimulatory) and promotes a parasympathetic response - which produces relaxation. Better, more productive / restorative sleep could be the end result.
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
