Best Home-Made Gainer Ever!!!
1-1.5c Oats (whole or ground, your pref) 52-78g complex carbs
.5 scoop of whey powder (13g pro) .5 scoop of casein powder (13g pro)
16 fl.oz. 2% milk (16g pro)
8-10g BCAA's (mainly look for at least 3g of leucine to switch the protein synthesis on)
5-10g Creatine Mono ( I use IronTek, it's just plain creatine, no flavour or additives)
I have two of these a day for a total of 1,330 extra calories a day. My whey product is Body Fortress and my Casein is SixStar. My BCAA's is MRM. The oats are great because they are complex so you get a better insulin release. I always shoot for at least 3g of Leucine to turn the protein synthesis switch on. Hope this helps you!NickC011512

Had this for breakfast this morning.
1 small container of Chobani yogurt (any flavor will do).
1 cup of oats ground in coffee grinder.
1 tablespoon of honey for sweetness.
2 cups of whole milk. (I use 1 cup in shake and other cup to wash out all of the leftovers in the bottle).
Throw all this in a shaker bottle and you've got approx. 800 calories, 42 grams of protein, and 113 grams of carbs. Tastes awesome too!
