    Any tips on fullback?

I play OT/DT but our running back coach wants to try me at some fullback. I think it's going to be fun but I have no idea about fullback. Cept that they block and run ze ball! Personally, I love running the ball in street games. Well, yeah any tips would really help.

Well you were playing OT so you already have the right mind set for a FB. Idk how much the FB touches the ball in your offense, but being able to catch out of the backfield is something to work on, as is running the ball in short situations. Normally the FB is used in short yard situations, so most of the time you're going to be looking to get up field w/your shoulders square, protecting the ball for 2/3 yards. Leverage and pad level are key to a good FB.

The blocking youll have to do is different from what a lineman has to do. The biggest thing is not to stop in the hole. And usually the side you push your man isn't important just make sure your head is clearly on one side so your running backs can make a read
