Cool Working hard at training but not sore...help!! Need some suggestions

Ok, since May of this year, I've gained 4lbs muscle and lost about 3% bodyfat...I do resistance training 3x/week with 30 minutes cardio after. On my off days, I do about an hour cardio. While I am in the gym feeling like I am kicking my butt and giving my all..usually high reps (15) I no longer am getting sore afterwards and thus feeling that my time in the gym is pretty much wasted or I'm not exerting enough.

Any suggestions? I really need to stay motivated but I'm not feeling anything afterwards..has this happened to anyone. what should I do--should I totally revamp my programming...don't you have to be sore to gain muscle?

I think you should revamp your program and try lifting VERY HEAVY, reps 5-10, 4 sets. Or if you want hardcore, look up in the articles some "drop sets". They KICK YOUR BUTT! I change my program up every 3 - 4 weeks to keep my body guessing. It takes me heavy weights, mod reps, drop sets, and 4 - 6 sets of each of the 8 - 10 exercises to fell any DOMS anymore. Don't be afraid to change it up...gotta keep your body guessing!

Yep, lifting heavy is the way to go!

Also, I'm a supplement fiend and have found that Purple Wraath and White flood have aided me in making significant strength and endurance gains. I lift a lot heavier and with more intensity since using these supps, and find that I'm a lot more sore afterward as a result of being able to push harder, and with greater intensity.
