Why would you bother doing hang cleans for 10 reps?
And why would Irishkid need to move up? He is only seven pounds over the limit for the 165's. Powerlifters (which you are not) often train over their weight class limit and then cut down for a meet. If he moves up, he will be competing against guys who walk around at close to 200lbs., and he is giving up a lot of leverage at this point and time.
You really need to stop giving advice. Unless, of course, in your vast competitive experience, you have done things differently.

What is your best total, and what meet did it occur in? Until you can answer this question, you are nothing more than a wannabe.
And there is a difference between having lifts that are good for one weight class and lifts that are exceptional for another. I would explain it to you, but probably I am too much of a dumb ass.
And you wonder why no one here, or anywhere else for that matter, has any use for you? I hope you never compete, because you will be nothing more than an embarrassment to my sport, regardless of what you total.
