First off, I'd like to thank Gaspari Nutrition for letting me try out the Ultimate Pump Stack, consisting of SuperPump250 and PlasmaJet.
I got the package this afternoon. It was an awesome feeling opening it only to find 2 X SuperPump250, 1 X PlasmaJet, a badass Gaspari t-shirt, and a leak-free Shaker Cup.
My stats are:
Height: 6'3.75"
Weight: 231 lbs.
Bodyfat: ~9%
My training is all instinctive. I focus on mainly full upper body workouts, plus an all-out leg day, and all-out arm day, and another day of powerlifting style training. This may look something like this:
Monday: Full-upper body training - 2 exercises per muscle group, 1 exercise per tricep/bicep, 8-10 sets each exercise. Reps vary from how I feel on the particular day. The past month or so I've been loving to throw around that heavy ass weight for low reps, so it's gonna get entertaining for sure.
Tuesday: All-out leg training - heavy squats, barbell stiff legged deadlifts, powerrack glute extensions and lots of lunges. Plus calves.
Wednesday: OFF from weights, may to abs/cardio.
Thursday: Full upper body training - 2 exercises per muscle group, this time utilizing more supersets of different muscle groups. Normally higher reps and high intensity.
Friday: OFF
Saturday: Powertraining Day - heavy deadlifts, barbell bench press, behind-neck push press, heavy a$$ shrugs, power upright rows; normally use weight as heavy as possible. Try to exceed my previous Saturday's strength on most exercises. I'm in a hardcore mood for this day of training; ready to push myself beyond anything I've done before. Low reps, high weight, medium/low intensity.
Sunday: All -out arm day: 3-5 exercises each for biceps and triceps; lots of intensity, hard core pump training, high reps, low reps; I keep mixing it up every time.
Monday: OFF, or start over again...
- different kind of approach, I'm aware. I don't know how to explain my training style; it is what you see.. take it for what it is, I guess, haha. I've gotten strong as hell utilizing such an approach the past 6 weeks, and solidified my entire upper torse as well as legs.
Diet:
Quick and easy..
High Protein: 300-350 grams
Medium Carbs: 200-250 grams.
Low/moderate Fat: 40-50 grams (fish oil, evoo, sesamin oil, cheese)
Carb sources are mainly oatmeal and rice, plus some vegetables and fruits every once in a while. Also enjoy the occasional box or two of Kashi GoLean cereal.
Protein sources are mainly eggs, chicken, steak, sausage, protein powder.
Fat sources are as mentioned fish oil, evoo, sesamin oil and *cheese (*not a 'source', per se)
I'll be rating the following for each of the individual products (as if I can always distinct what effects come from what..):
Energy: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
Pump: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
Vascularity: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
Focus: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
Strength: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
Volumization: 1-5 point rating, 1 being 'no effect', 5 being 'siiiick'
I'll be video-taping some training here and there, and I always post them in my log, with a link to the youtube site.
I'm stoked to be running this Ultimate Pump Stack. I'm looking forward to maximizing my vascularity, lean and shred up my body, and keep growing some lean and dense muscle.

Weight - 232 lbs.
PlasmaJet & SuperPump250 Stack:
Energy: 5/5 - without a doubt, 2 scoops of SuperPump was one helluva pick-me-upper. I haven't taken any pre-workout drinks in a week, and no stims (aka fat burners, etc) for 4 weeks, so I was definitely feeling the mix of caffeine and all other energizers in it. I was sweating profusely as well, very impressed, but the gym was at a perfect temperature so I kept warm and this just totally jacked up my intensity and pump. Normally when I sweat this much, I'm having problems keeping warm in between sets due to the gym A/C, and I totally lose the pump, but today I was warm and full of energy throughout.
Strength: 4/5 - WOW ! I haven't workout out since last wednesday, and I came back strong as hell ! Impressive shoulder press strength, as well as pulldowns. I felt as if I got a second spurt of energy on my first set of side laterals. The 30 lbs'ers just flew up as if they were feather weight. I don't know how to explain it; it was every ATP molecule in my delts snapped at once and my strength/stamina soared. I felt each and every rep deep in my side deltoids.
Pump: 5/5 - Holy $hit, yes ! Video will prove it.. 'nuff said.
Vascularity - 5/5 - Haven't seen such vasculariy in a long time ! I mean, a snake like vein on my front delt, a la Dave Palumbo . .. lol.. Video will prove it, as well.
Endurance/Stamina/Focus - 5/5 - Non-stop energy throughout. Focus was great, on the spot, throughout as well.
No lie; I didn't want to leave the gym today. I left feeling big, confident and energized as hell. I could've gone through a couple more exercises, but I figured after 6 days off from the gym, I'd just beat the $hit outta myself [my muscles] on certain core exercises, then go feed the muscles and grow. Tomorrow is another all-out leg day !
Uh oh, PlasmaJet two days in a row ?! lol

Where Chef Snag goes, I go, cause that's where all good food is.
I'm love'n the videos Nor. Vascularity is looking tight and I knew you were setting up for those behind the neck power press/jerks.
I've been wanting to ask you, what kind of lifting belt is that? It looks nice and thick, which is something my stability retardant lumbar needs.
Keep it bro, I'll do my utmost to follow along intently.CERTIFIED STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SPECIALIST, NSCA - CSCS

Day #2:
6.00PM: 10 caps PlasmaJet
6.30PM: 'Sludge' - 45-50 grams whey protein, one packet french vanilla flavor oatmeal, + 1/3 cup oatmeal + 1 tbs peanutbutter for a total of 60 grams carbs.
7.30PM: 2 scoops Orange Flavored SuperPump250
8.00PM: Leg Day!
Legs:
Barbell Squats (rock bottom) - 135 * 15, 185 * 12, 245 * 10, 335 * 10, 385 * 4, 385 * 4, 385 * 4, 335 * 6
Leg Press (high incline) - 470 * 15, 560 * 15, 650 * 12, 740 * 12
Laying Hamstring Curls - 150 * 20, 180 * 15
superset with
Machine Calf Raises - 315 * 20, 315 * 20
- felt lightheaded, sick, nauseous and had a pounding headache. It began during the leg press, yet I kept pushing on, harder and harder, and kind of took it overboard. I was dizzy and decided I couldn't do another set. I swaggered to the locker room and laid down on a bench, feeling completely, utterly burnt out, worst head ache and nausea I've ever had. Walked to my car, wishing I didn't have to drive. Got out of my car in front of my apartment, and spilt my guts fifteen times; no bs. It came pouring out, and I felt better and better by each gag. Laid down on my floor for five minutes, then regained my consciousness over the next ten minutes or so . .
SuperPump250/PlasmaJet:
Energy: 2/5.
- I can't accurately rate my energy, because halfway through I was running on nothing but my own ego/stubbornness. I was draaaained, as I felt sick as hell, but finished my workout to the best I could. Energy was decent on squats, but they took it out of me!
Strength: 5/5.
- Couldn't believe I did three sets of 385 * 4 reps on squats ! New personal record ! As is 335 * 10 reps, also very surprising. I finally swapped out the 45 lbs'ers for the 100 lbs plates; hence the jump from 185 -> 245 lbs on my following set.
Stamina/Endurance/Focus: 5/5 first 20 minutes, 3/5 the remaining 30 minutes.
- Once again, the nausea and head ache ruined it for me ..
Flavor: Orange:
- two scoops with 12 oz water; it was too much to choke down. It wasn't pleasant because the flavor was too strong, but I didn't want to add more water because drinking 20+oz. water in a short period of time prior to my workouts is just something I have a hard time doing; for stomach comfort levels .. Even witht 12 oz. it seemed like the shaker cup never emptied. .Last edited by Norwegian; 09-03-2008 at 09:49 PM.

Uhhhh, damn dude, you had some serious post-gym happenings going on. Was it something you ate? Or did you have some disagreements with today's dosages?

Yes, both . . .5.30PM I choked down 4 oz. of this honey roasted beef jerky, got me a little iffy .. bathroom .. uhhhmmm .. then I choked down my 'Sludge' in a couple minutes, and it didn't exactly help the situation. But then .. 14 oz of SuperPump250 .. Uggghhh, topped off my stomach and turned it upside down .. 4 bathroom breaks pre-workout ..
but then .. high intensity, high weight, pushing myself as hard as I can on barbell squats. . got me goooohooood !

Hmmmm..... historically, some supplements do tend to upset your stomach pretty easily, while other times you have the Shoalin Iron Stomach tolerance to certain supps.
What kind of belt are you wearing in your video, cause no joke, I want to buy one.
P.S. Isn't it like 1:00am in Texas and you're telling ME to go to bed!Last edited by VolcomX311@aol.com; 09-03-2008 at 10:02 PM.

Yes, to the stomach deal. Although White Flood also irritated me @ times, especially when combining it with the funky tasting grape Purple Wraath.
Here's the belt:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/set/boa.html
- to me, worth every $. I got lucky, I bought it for my older brother for x-mas two years ago, and he ended up giving it to me .. Great support, wide belt for my lumbar support, easy adjustable using the scroll wheel. Great comfort to wear. A+!
- it's just past midnight here now. I just sat down for the evening pretty much. Workout was done @ 9.30, had an hour long errand, home to cook dinner, sat down to eat dinner 30 minutes ago, now I'm trying to chillax a little before getting my very anabolic 4-6 hours of sleep ! LOL

They're selection is kind of confusing, they have small, medium, large and extra large, but they're all set at 4' with the exception of one extra large set a 7'. What size do you have? I've probably got 8-10 inches on your waste, I'm a size 35, so what would you recommend?

Perfect, because I actually transition from a small and a medium from my current weight belt (same belt company, two different sizes), but if you're using a large for the Boa's, then for sure a large won't be too big for me. That was my main concern. I bought a fricken $50 Schiek belt at size large and that thing is about as effective as wrapping a loose fitting towel around my waste. I left it at the gym on purpose to let someone pick it up if they needed a belt. The Schiek sat in my trunk for 3 years unused.

Day #4: Friday, September 5th
8AM: 10 caps PlasmaJet
9.30AM: 2 scoops SuperPump
10.00AM: GYM
Wide-grip Wide-bar EZ Bar Curls - 45 * 20, 65 * 20, 85 * 15, 105 * 15
Seated Dumbbell Hammer Curls - 45 * 15, 50 * 15, 55 * 15
Machine Preacher Curls - 80 * 20, 100 * 15 res * 3 sets
superset with
V-grip Pressdowns - 80 * 20, 100 * 20, 120 * 15, 120 * 15
Overhead DB Extensions - 100 * 20, 110 * 20, 120 * 15, 130 * 15
superset with
One-arm Spider Curls - 30 * 15, 30 * 20 reps * 3 sets
Rope Pressdowns - 50 * 20 reps * 3 sets
superset with
One-Arm Machine Preacher Curls - 50 * 15 reps * 2 sets
Weight - 238 lbs.
SuperPump250/PlasmaJet Stack:
Strength: 4/5 - went for semi high loads and high reps on barbell curls; got one helluva pump. Overhead db extensions surprised me; I should be able to consistently do 150s for those within a couple of weeks ! 130 for 15 (which I got on tape, and will upload Sunday) felt real good and got my veins busting in my arms!
Pump: 5/5 - ridiculous pump ~ then again, it's an all out ARM DAY ONLY ! LOVE THIS DAY ! Initially I was going to do a full body session, but I knew I didn't have much time (I was already skipping class while working out at this point), so I figured I'd go all out on arms and save my powertraining session for today Saturday, or tomorrow Sunday. SICK pump ~ Veins everywhere ~
Vascularity: 5/5 - I swear, even at moderate carbs and choking down great amounts of oatmeal and Sludge, I stay vascular as hell, and the pump has my muscles wanting to rip out of my skin! YES, it's that bad, and this is still off of only two scoops SuperPump250 and now three packets of PlasmaJet in four days.
Stamina/Endurance: 5/5 - energy, stamina, endurance, focus, pump = all A-B rated. Simply an awesome workout in a rested state, fed on only SuperPump250 and fueled off of the previous evenings load of carbohydrates. MMM MMM MMM !~
LOVING IT, so far !

Day #6:
Uni-arm Hammer Pulldowns (both arms at once) - 180 * 20, 270 * 15, 360 * 12, 410 * 10, 450 * 8, 360 * 8, 360 * 8
Incline Hammer Press - 180 * 15, 270 * 15, 320 * 10, 360 * 5, 360 * 4, 360 * 4
Seated Side Laterals - 30 * 20, 30 * 30, 40 * 12, 40 * 12
Pec-dec Flyes - 160 * 20, 190 * 20, 220 * 20
triset with
Reverse-grip Pec-dec Flyes - 160 * 20, 190 * 20, 220 * 15
triset with
Seated Machine Rows - 150 * 20, 190 * 20, 230 * 20
Standing Dumbbell Shrugs - 150 * 20, 150 * 20, 150 * 30
Weight - ?
SuperPump250/PlasmaJet Stack:
Strength: 5/5 - look at my pulldowns and incline hammers.. 'nuff said. I can't remember the last time I was repping out full reps with 4 * 45 lbs plates per side on incline hammer presses. I've NEVER done 5 plates each side on those Hammer pulldowns either. Damn !
Pump: 4/5 - Got a hellacios pump from the get-go ! My pecs felt jacked and volumized following the incline presses, and the rest of me appeared much bigger as well.
Vascularity: 3/5 - too many carbs, too little high-repped sets, I guess . .lol .. Still had some decent vascularity, especially my forarms, but my carb endulging doesn't allow for my veins to bust through my paperthin skin any longer .. it ain't paperthin .. haha
Stamina/Endurance: 5/5 - as usual, my drive, stamina and endurance is a notch above !
Flavor: Tropical Punch - 4/5. Not too shabby mixed with ICE COLD water !
Like I said, LOVIN' IT !

Day #7:
LEG DAY, BABY !!
Barbell Squats -
135 * 15, 185 * 12, 225 * 12
315 * 10, 365 * 8
405 * 2, 405 * 2, 405 * 2 -> DROP -> 315 * 8
One-legged Horizontal Leg Press - 180 * 15, 225 * 12, 270 * 4 -> DROP -> 225 * 8
superset with
Horizontal Leg Press Calf Raises - 180 * 25, 225 * 20, 225 * 20
Laying Hamstring Curls - 150 * 15, 170 * 15, 190 * 12, 200 * 10
superset with
Machine Calf Raises - 315 * 20 reps * 3 sets
Weight - ?
SuperPump250/PlasmaJet Thoughts:
Strength: 5/5
- DEFINITELY up there ! I felt real fresh on my 'warm-up' sets leading up to my 405 * 2 sets. I've only done 2 reps with 405 on squats for one or two sets before (no seperate occasions), so it's definitely a big thing for me to have done 3 sets @ 405lbs for 2 reps each. These are rock bottom; ass to the grass. The drop set to 315 after my final 405 set was grueling. I put the 315 on my back, tightened my whole body in a locked/fixed position and pumped out 8 grueling reps. I can definitely accredit the Gaspari Stack for this increases strength !
Pump: 5/5
- God dayuyuumm, I've got some fairly decent legs. They got blown up like I've never seen them before. They were looking jacked after the first couple sets of squats, but when I got to the one legged press, I could focus on pushing as much blood into each individual quad; they just blew up another couple inches.. Veins were popping out all around my side ham/quad and down the front of my quads. Those one-legged horizontal leg presses are to me what parking lot lunges are to Branch & Ronnie, to put it that way. I ran into a buddy of mine on the way out the door, and he took a look at me once and turned to his bud and went; THOSE are the kinds of legs I want, god dammmmn they lookin' jacked ! Hahah, felt good to hear. I told him he should've joined in on my routine, but I don't think he'd be able to . . . lol
Vascularity: 5/5
- Hell yes, the PlasmaJet is doing its thing. I had thick veins all over my quads and side ham/quad area. Also popping veins outta my shoulder when gripping the bar on the squats, so there's definitely a SIGNIFICANT difference in vascularity compared to pre-cycle. A+ thus far !
Endurance/Stamina/Focus: 5/5
- As usual, I'm on the top of my game in the gym nowadays. I go all out no matter how my days have gone, I make no excuses. I was in the zone like no other, knowing it was solely a LEG DAY. That got me real fired up. Endurance was up, intensity was hellacios! I was drenching every area I walked over. Since I stopped an intra-workout product, i've noticed that I'm not AS enduring of all out activity as I was when taking intra workout BCAAs and the likes (Xtend, Purple Wraath). I am giving Xtend some consideration at the moment, I think it'd keep me going a bit longer .. hmm
Flavor: Tropical Punch: 3/5
- I can't make up my mind. 2.5 scoops with 10-12 oz water, and it's much thicker but burns as a mutha going down. My throat felt like it was on fire ! Umm .. time for Orange next time around.

Hell yes, they ARE fun ! Which is why I dedicate a whole days to them . .
Oh, and on a second note ..
- My arms are feeling pumped and looking considerably bigger throughout the day. I know my body's enjoying the anabolic environment I'm giving it by putting down the carbs, but it's above ordinary for me to be this pumped so I dedicate it much to the Gaspari stack !
