I am vegan, i have been for almost a year, and prior to that i was vegan from 8th grade to 10th grade summer, i am not in the 12 grade. I have abstained meat and animal products from my life since the 6th grade. i do not wish to change, this is my life style and so it will remain.
Which bring us to one of the reasons by which i decided to get in shape.
I started dating a girl, her name doesnt matter, it really doesnt. From the beginning i told her about my lifestyle of veganism and the reasons for which i believe that all animals from small to large have a right to not suffer.
but recently our relationship started going downhill, she said something i said others, she said i didnt listen to her, or something i dont really remember, i called her a bith, you know the usual good things us guy say, while under pressure.
But anyways i believe one of the reaons for our break up was that she was kinda stupid and shallow, for you see she is a preppy girl, you know the type, she is a cheerleader, she dates big jock guys, and here was I, a leftist/ socialist vegan guy, who commutes to school on his bike, and would never dream of hurting an animal, and for most of the time i remain idle, hiding behind my books, and my bass. I do go out side, i like to go on bike rides, and see the beauty of the outdoors, i also like to walk and sit and think in the woods.
But anyways, i believe she sacked me for some guy, who i dislike oh and he dislikes me too.
you see this guy is different than me, not better, in the aspect of his body he is superior, for he is in better shape, and i, well i weigh 127 pounds, im short for my age (17 and 5'5)
and i am a very pacifistic guy.
but now i believe the time of change has come, the time when i stand up, and battle not only for her, **** her anyway, but for vegans, and i wana destroy this myth that us vegans arent healthy and nutritious and that we just eat salads.

i wana get toned, maybe get a little broader shoulders, harder core, stronger, faster, i just need to get in better shape thanks.
I have dumbells, i also have a pair of the Perfect Pushups, i have a bench for bench pressing. and yep thanks in advance and good luck with your work out!

It is much harder for you to get bigger being vegan. However, simple basics:
You need to consume about 3000-3500 calories to gain 1-2lb per week.
You need to consume about 1.5-2g protein per lb you weigh.
You need all of the carbs you can get lol...
This is called a bulk. You need to bulk in order to gain anything. You have to add mass to make mass and muscles.
honestly, it takes a much harder willed person to bulk being vegan. It's dang hard. Not gonna lie. But if you can do it for about 6 months, you'll look a LOT better I can bet.

you dont need protein.
protein=amino acids= enzymes.
enzymes are in all uncooked veggies and fruit.
with protein your body has to break it down into aminos, and then into enzymes, which takes energy, gettign direct enzymes is the same thing with less energy spent. Protein is a middle man.
anyways OP. as long as your eating a lot of fruits and veggies which im sure you do, and your getting like 3200-3500 calories a day you will grow.

Benefits = you stay small, continue being a pushover, and don't want animals that don't suffer in the first place to suffer. come on they were born and raised to be ate, EAT THEM lol.
Creatine would be a really good idea because the main source of that in a natural diet is red meat, oviously your not eating any of that so load up on creatine.
Take whey protien. Being a vegan i'd take a small serving with each meal as well, to get lots of protien in.
nuts, and other calorie dense food would be a great idea b/c you don't get much of any calories from salad/fruit, being 80 or w/e % water.
Lift heavy eat heavy. lots of carbs in the morning and post work-out.
drink milk. lots of milk. it doesn't hurt the cows to get milked, actually they do get in pain if they're not
ditch the bike get a truck burn gas.
act like you own the place. best advice I can give you no one else there knows what they're doing have confidence and that grin that says you know something they don't and no one will question you.Good Luck. But luck has nothing to do with it.

Your a fu cking idiot. Protein is broken down into enzymes by your body. Protein is just a name for a group of amino acids bonded together.. and amino acids are enzymes bonded together your body breaks it down to the smallest particle possible, which are enzymes.
