+30 LBS in 8 Month's Progress

This is me at the beginning of January 08...160 LBS
A little about my history of lifting:
strong arms, weak legs, neglected chest, poor shoulders.

Three months of X-Factor and doing a full body routine for once, getting the wheels rolling with squats n deads. 175 LBS

After 2 weeks on MFX, 2 weeks off from lifting due to an injury, another 2 weeks on MFX, and bridged into my second week of ActX which I'm loving. 190 LBS
I'd really appreciate suggestions on improving my physique, especially in regards to my chest! Thanks and reps ( little albeit) to anyone who posts.

i used to have no chest, heres my advice
-concentrate on pushing with your chest, not shoulders, feel the contraction
-use dumbells for everything. barbell intros too much shoulders and tris.
-Flies, incline flies, decline flies, and weighted dips

Nice job.
You're at my target weight. I actually started around 145ish.
You got noticeably bigger.
The traps+chest comments are spot on. You will be well balanced if you spend some time working on those. Specific exercises to really FEEL the movement in those muscle areas.
Kudos man, hard work pays off.

thank you to everyone who's responded, basically i bust my ass on every exercise, so im not sure why my chest is lagging. perhaps because I do chest and shoulders on the same day? i dunno. Same thing with my traps...any advice for them though? I only do DB shrugs at the moment. For back width, I do weighted pull ups, chins, and BW pullups and chins.
BTW: on recharge for ppl whove posted

Dude you are progressing like crazy! Most guys would be happy with that kind of progress for 2 years worth of hard work, you've done it in 8 months.
Obviously you have the dedication, nutrition and right attitude in the gym to get'r done.
30 lean LBS in 8 months is staggering...if you can do that again in another 8 your going to be a monster.

TRAPS BRO WORK DA TRAPS
thats the only thing i can see that your lacking besides your chest which could just be genetically small, split up your chest lifts in a wide range when you lift it dont just so like bench and db bench do all 3 incline reg and decline, flys also will help your just trying to tear to muscles in different ways to get more overall growth

wow great progress man. everything looks great, but the traps need some work. I think it's funny how the bigger you get the more hair and facial hair you get .

Well, I just do my absolute best to hit the staples like protein and carbs, my diet lacks veggies but I tend to snack on a lot of fruit. I aim for 7-8 ounces of meat like tri tip steak or new york strip once or twice a day, a can of chunk lite tuna everyday, Whey in the morning, PostWO, and Casein before bed. Other than that man, I just aim for a calorie surplus with complex carbs like brown rice, oats, and when i cheat, i eat wheat based pasta.
My workout routine has evolved from Max-OT into a 12 day split (Hola Bola's) which Im currently on right now, and considering something new, yet I like how its split up with all sorts of legs days cause theres nothing like a hard leg workout.
To people who've mentioned the facial hair thing hahaha, thats funny cause I noticed that too once I uploaded the pics, ive had grizz on my chin since january, I just didnt sport it in the pic I guess. And yeah, I have been growing out my hair, surfing twice a day ( i live across the street from the Oceanside pier in CA).
Oh and I shouldnt even respond to the AAS comment last received but, a full time student without a job like me couldnt afford a real cycle of gear + PCT let alone afford the responsibility of sides at my age
