I'm not a fan of gainers that use maltodextrin as their carb source (which is 95% of them). So I did some poking around the site and figured I would make the search easier for the next person that tries it.
Here is my list of the best gainers out there, none of which contain sugar or maltodextrin:
1. MHP Up Your Mass (carbs from oats, barley, and oat fiber).
Price from bodybuilding.com = $32.48 for 5lbs
Serving Size = 132g, 17 servings for 5lbs
Calories = 510
Calories/dollar spent = 267 calories/$
Fat = 11g (2 sat)
Carbs = 58g (11 fiber)
Protein = 46g

Note: This product does contain soy protein, which is a turnoff for some people. I personally think it's the best gainer I've found, despite the soy protein.
2. Bionic Edge Mass Builder (carbs from brown rice, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes).
Price from bodybuilding.com = $89.99 for 10lbs ($45 for 5lbs for comparison).
Serving Size = 165g, 28 servings for 10lbs (14 for 5lbs)
Calories = 632
Calories/dollar spent = 197 calories/$
Fat = 3.5g (2.5 sat)
Carbs = 100g (8 fiber)
Protein = 50g

3. Reflex Instant Mass (carbs from oats and barley).
Not available from bodybuilding.com (or anywhere outside of the UK/Australia for some reason).
If anybody knows of any other gainers that use a carb source other than sugar or maltodextrin, please post them here!
