Unexpected compliment
They come from out of the blue, don't they?
I was in the checkout line at Shop Rite (supermarket) yesterday. I had on a black sleeveless T shirt with my gym's logo and name on it. The cashier looked at me and said "Pearl Street Gym, huh? Well you certainly look it". I said "thanks!" with the most idiotic grin and chuckle.
That's all, carry on.

Thanks. But if I don't get my butt back into the gym, I'm not going to have anything left to compliment on. My workouts have been so half-assed and haphazard.

True, true.
Oh, I dunno. I guess 'cuz it's not about a specific workout, and is kind of a self-pat on the back.

Thanks.
I did make up a new workout this morning. I'm going to tinker with a full body workout again. I love my 3-4 days splits, but I find that one thing or another conspires to make me miss a day. A 3 day full body workout may be a nice diversion. I think it's time to shake it up. If I miss a day, I've still got pretty much the same number of total sets and reps as with a split.

And the best part is that these people really mean it and know what they're talking about.

I say by all means do it, BUT only for a short period of time like a month or so.
Thats all I got to say about that.
Just my .02, take it or leave it.
Edit: oh yeah, congrats on the compliment!

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know it should be for that short a period of time. Would you recommend going back to my regular split after that time, using another workout or alternating them? Even though I make and have made progress, I get bored and burned out easily. No idea why.

Personally, I would have to say from what you just stated.
Full body for a month.
A regular split of some kind for 6 - 8 weeks.

Worth a shot. It may be the new hype if it proves out well.

Exposed to Gravity
Last week I was at a mom-and-pop gas station in town to fill the gas tank. When I went in to pay for the gas, out of the blue, the lady who runs the place commented (in a complimentary fashion) that she thought I'd lost a little weight.
Hot weather and short sleeves LOL.
Good for you, Min!

It feels good doesn't it? Especially for when you have those times when your mind kind of cumulatively tricks you and you start feeling like you look like **** [even though you don't] and the out of nowhere, BAM, you get a compliment that pulls that filter from in front of your eyes.
I sometimes get:
"You're very attractive for a middle-eastern."
lol.. it's like a compliment and an insult all rolled into one.
I do snatch pulls in the gym so I can do snatch pulls in the bars. And I ALWAYS use a hook grip.
