Me doing a heavy set of Squats in the dark cellar...
Here is a video of mine doing a heavy set of Barbell squats( 375 lbs for 10 reps) in the the dark cellar beneath my house. Doing it the animalpak way. This is hardcore living brothers. This is the life of an animal...
You don't know squat if you don't squat. This is how big wheels get rollin. The free weight squat Is a great mass builder and if you skip out on this exercise don't bitch when you are walking on twigs.

Granted he did sound like a little bit of a douche in his first post, but, give the guy a break. Sometimes people have to work with the equipment that they have.

no offense bro...but i really doubt that is 375.
just by lookin at how easily it came off the rack, how easily you moved back with it, and how easily/quickly you were able to go down/up with it...and the bar is not curving even a little
sorry theres no way that is 375. calm me crazy

Animal just makes you think that working out in the dark or alone, or waking up early in the morning is hardcore to appeal to people. Everyone wants to be "hardcore". In reality, it's all bull****.
I counted five 10kg plates on each side. This is 100kg, plus the bar is like 10kg (looks like a ****ty bar).
110kg if you're lucky. Probably less.

Short bar might not bend as much as you would think. The bar will also be dead not like a good oly bar. Still a decent squat. I used to train with a bar like that and it didn't flex much.

That's nothing: I'm so hardcore that I train in a small tool shed out back. It's so small and cramped (thus hardcore!!11!eleven!!) that my olympic bar doesn't even fit; so instead of squatting using plates, I simply cut holes in the shed, put the bar through the walls and squat the shed itself! Right off the foundations! With weights piled on the roof! At 4am! It makes such a loud clanging noise that the neighbors usually call the police, so I take my position in the bushes and when they go to investigate, I crawl under their car and use it for my bench press. The front end. With the engine still running. One handed.
I won't even tell you how 3xtrem3 and animalpak-ish my deadlifts are; but suffice it to say that it includes a 500lbs fat chick and a midget. Out of necessity, these are done in the dark as well. (I can only be so hardcore in one day.)

his comment says:
The bar is not that long in length that it will bend. It is only a friggin 55 inches long! Also the first four are 15 kg plates(the black ones. ANd after that if u notice carefully there are two small green coloured plates on each side each of which is 8 kg. and then the bar which is around 15 kg. So the total comes to be 120+32+15= 167 kg which comes 170 rounded to the nearest 10. Now do I have to prove anything else???"
so yes, he legitimately believes he is hardcore

That bar ain't 15kg. More like 5-7kg. Still a decent weight to squat at your size. So more like 155kg or 340lbs
Rubber plate most likely cheap and won't be the weight there supposed to be. I use 15kg rubber plates and there well out on set is 12kg and the other set is 19kg ii know this cos i train in a powerlifting club and every weight has be checked. Don't know how but its marked on the side with the correct weight.
