Nudist Colony That Allows Kids IN??? How is this Legal??

This is in my county. How the heck can they let people raise kids in this camp and have the kids naked all the time? How is this not 100000 times worse than the Texas nutcases? Not that I support them either but this article doesnt even mention the children as if its a bad thing.

What does BB.com think about this? Nude kids and nude adults just chillin together

I don't see the problem. There is nothing wrong with kids seeing naked bodies. The kids are there with their families so the people living in the colony aren't walking around PIITB.

imo as long as it's not in a lucid/vulgar manner what is wrong with it? Would I do it? No because I've been raised different.

But it is the way we were created and if they are just living normally and it doesn't bother them and they aren't raping 5 year olds I really don't see the problem...

Remember the forbidden is the most popular. If you take a normal person who's used to be clothed all the time and they see a naked body it's going to be hush hush lucid comments etc, but for someone who's in the culture it's nothing out of the ordrinary.

In spain the beaches are topless (atlesat some of them) and families on Sunday especially all come to the beach. There are topless women everywhere with kids playing as well, it isn't as awkward or disgusting as you might think it is. THere are no people gawking at the women or anything...

It's called different opinions. The only reason you think nudity is "bad" is because that's the way you were raised, and that's what the society around you believed. Stop and think about it critically for a second, what's so bad or wrong about a naked body?

I don't see anything wrong with this, I mean, it's the same as nude beaches. The kids are used to being naked and being around naked people, so it's not like this is detrimental to their mental health. Back when the GDR was still around, it was perfectly normal for all the people living there to be naked on the beach, for example.

To much exposure to penis or vagina does what?
It would be different if it was a sex colony.

I don't have a problem with nudity, but why is sooooo necessary. If they didn't do it, would their lives be worse off?

I'm going to guess they have security, but that is just a guess.

In any case, there are all kinds of things I think aren't nessecary and wouldn't make peoples lives worse if they didn't do it, so they should do them, but then its a free country.
Unless there is some harm they are causing then I'm not sure I get the argument against the nudist colony.

I understand what you are saying, but we are a free country with limits, laws. Polygamy, incest etc are not legal. Society has to draw a line. I'm for Federalism. Let the states decide if they think this is appropriate and whether it should be legal as the Constitution does not address this.

I've been to various nude beaches and all have children at them. Nudism isn't about sex.

It's different from the guy in Texas because nobody is having sex with them or forcing them to get married young.

Our society has gotten so uptight it's ridiculous.

Everybody thinking of it in terms of "well who cares if little kids see adults naked? It's only natural" etc. etc.
That's fine, I agree wholeheartedly, kids seeing adults naked is not a problem.
But adults seeing kids naked? Really? Is that fine now? There are some very dirty people in this world; some sick, twisted people.
Anybody watch "To Catch A Predator"? I mean, wow... the number of paedos out there is shocking.
I don't think any child should have to be put in a situation where they are paraded around naked in front of people who could potentially be checking them out. It's making me angry just thinking about it. Maybe it's just my hangup, but I feel like it would be somehow robbing their innocence to some extent too

I don't think many people think nudist colonies are normal or healthy for kids, but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

But would you really want to ban nudist colonies that allow children in just because there MIGHT be a handful of pedophiles who join the colonies in order to check out naked kids? I don't know about the US, but over here you'll find naked little children on every beach anyway...

If it was illegal to view naked children, how would they get bathed, diapers changed, operated on, etc? It's illegal to exploit children or anyone under the age of 18. Currently nudist colonies are not considered exploitation. (no nudist)

This is basically what I was saying.
Yea if you go to the beach there might be the occasional 3 year old running around naked, but kids of like 7-14 is pretty damn disturbing.

And to the guy who said would I be willing to close nudist camps down just so a few paedos wont be able to get their rocks off - YES! Or at least make them all 18+ only. I thought all nudist areas were 18+ only already.
