okay: for those who haven't seen the magazine, I have tried to scan it as best as possible and sort of size it to display on here, lets see how this works out:
you know, I really feel that in some way, ED represents the very best of what all of us are trying to do, and in that sense, he has become a symbol of what this over35 forum means to many of us...
with that in mind, I felt so proud when I picked up the magazine tonight and hurriedly turned to that page and soaked it in......
it is a victory , a personal one , for ED, but it is a shared victory , symbolically for all of us who are striving to do this naturally in spite of various obstacles ( age, health, etc)......
Old Supe: you are DA MAN right now buddy, and enjoy and bask in the limelight!!Last edited by JOHN GARGANI; 12-16-2008 at 04:27 PM.

So....how great is this man??
OK boyz and goils. Most of you have never been to a Bodybuilding contest and have no plans to do so....I have judged some 40 shows, competed in 30 and attended another 50, IFBB, NPC, AAU and Natural. I have seen about 2,000 posing routines from Mr. L.A. to Shawn Ray to Flex Wheeler.
I would like to treat you to the best posing I have ever witnessed. Sit back and enjoy....

x2. A "Pittsburgh" style sandwich (meaning it has fries and cole slaw ON the "sammitch") at the originator of it. Hey, if we are gonna cheat let's hit the Primanti's in Oakland & then go over to "The O" for an obscene portion of the world's best french fries. Then catch the bus up to Squirrel Hill and hit Guillifty's for the best desserts in the 'Burgh....unless we waddle down to Mineo's first for the best Sicilian style pizza around....of course providing we can ignore all the great mom n' pop Jewish delis on the way.
(this explains a lot of my Before pic.....)"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"

Thx
I would like to thank all those that have blessed my life this year! I have been so taken by the fellowship and personalities that are brought together by this sport on this forum.
It is an amazing phenomenon when you think about it. I have learned so much from this forum to help me succeed in my sport.
Best to all and may your new year be filled with joy and success not only in your fitness goals, yet in all your endeavors. ed aka Ol Supe. (Popps to muscle heads that know me well)CHECK OUT MY INTERVIEW WITH "SIMPLYSHREDDED"

Iron Man
Amazing video! Not just posing but entertainment! I have never seen any posing ever other than static images in magazines but this was awe-inspiring. It was great!
I have the magazine to. Just picked it up Boxing Day as a matter of fact. Haven't gotten to Ed's section yet but from what I've read so far this magazine (speaking in general) seems to exceed the other titles I've read.
You're incredible, Ed.

It's all your fault Supe.....
Popps, yeah right....I'm gonna call YOU popps? I will just use FRIEND.
Ed, look at all the people you have inspired and entertained. That alone should be enough reward for your endeavors...but oh no...could'nt leave it there...you just continue to raise the freakin bar. You also got Old Baldie off his sorry wrinkly ass and back into contest training. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever entertain that thought again. I overheard Randee last night on the phone telling her sister-in-law very proudly that I was back in the contest mode.
So there you go...see what you have done? Well from my family to yours, we wish you the grandest New Year of all time.
Bill (aka Baldie)

thanks for scanning this and the post
The credit belongs to the man in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly...who spends himself for a worthy cause...and if he fails, at least he fails daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who have never known neither victory nor defeat.- Teddy Roosevelt
